On November 19, the deputy of the RA NA My Step Faction, the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Sweden Friendship Group Hripsime Grigoryan received the students of Lund University of Sweden.

Welcoming the students Hripsime Grigoryan highlighted the development of the relations between Armenia and Sweden, talked about the ongoing reforms in a number of spheres after the Velvet revolution.

The meeting was mainly held in Q & A format.

At the guests’ request the deputy of the NA My Step Faction touched upon the issue of the Istanbul Convention ratification, presented the position of the Armenian side on the peaceful settlement of Artsakh problem, presented the programme New Armenia – Modern Parliament and the women’s legal equality problems in Armenia.

Hrpisime Grigoryan also touched upon the fulfillment of the economic revolution - a current stage priority for Armenia - speaking about the importance of public-private cooperation, individual effort and continuous self-education as means of ensuring well-being and development.

The Swedish students also took a tour to the parliament building.
